"You Christians take your fish eating selves and get out of here!"

All that to say don't see Happy Feet...it had an agenda 17 miles longs that lured you into the theater disguised as a happy dancing cute little penguin.

They lured us to the theatre with a cute dancing penguin and then bombarded us with messages of overfishing and pollution and also dissed organized religion and all things traditional...I just wanted to see a happy dancing penguin, but I didn't...sad face, it depressed us. There were also ridiculously blatant sexual references that made it totally not a kids movie.

i actually loved the agenda...

in their own way they bashed christianity and paganism. i haven't been able to sort out the entire movie yet, but i've been thinking about it a lot.

i know i'm weird.

You're a good friend Brandon. I miss you and I'm glad you're doing what you've waited and wanted to do for a long time.

Hmmm...Sounds like something I should see. Over-fishing, pollution, immigration are all issues I could get into. As for organized religion - well, I should leave that for my own blog. But, yeah, I can see how it might be disappointing in a kid's movie. Clearly it's an adult agenda.

You're just not safe anywhere these days. That's what I always say.

Thanks for the tip. I'll just wait 'till it's out on video, write my own post about it and get the conversation all riled up again.

Until next time...
